Support Stephen as his 2.6 Challenge continues
Our friend, volunteer AND Trustee Stephen Hill is truly going the extra mile for us this Thursday.
Stephen was told he would never be able to climb steps again after suffering a haemorrhagic stroke that severely affected his whole left side in 2015. Then last year, a spinal problem, paralysed his right leg and he has been in a wheelchair struggling to get mobile again.
For the 2.6 Challenge, Stephen climbed 26 steps setting a modest target of raising £100, and has so far raised over £1,500 to support the stroke affected. Inspired by his success, he will now attempt to climb the 75 steps up Siston Court Bell Tower (nr Emersons Green) and ring the bell this Thursday (07/04) when we clap for the NHS…..truly amazing!!!
