Do you want support to help you get back into the workplace following your stroke? If so, an upcoming course might be just up your street!
A third of those who have a stroke in our area are of working age, and many will need some assistance to go back into the workplace.
The seven-week face-to-face course, being held at the Bristol Rehab Centre, Bristol BS10, will help you think about all of the aspects of making a return, including:
• what support you might need
• your rights
• employer’s responsibilities
• dealing with stress, fatigue, vision and memory issues
• applying for a job
• and much more.
The sessions start in mid-May and will run from 10am – 12 pm.
To apply for this course, register your interest or to find out more, contact ICSS on 0300 125 5951 or email sirona.communitystrokeservice.nhs.net – one of the team wil then contact you to discuss further.
