This May we are asking our friends and supporters to help us raise vital funds in the most fun way possible: by hosting your very own tea party.

Last year a series of events raised almost £1900 - and this year we’re hoping it’s going to raise even more in order to fund vital services for stroke-affected people in the year ahead.

Already we've heard of tea parties being planned in a nursing home, as part of a local art trail and at one of our stroke support groups.

So how about it? Whether it’s at home with your friends, in a village hall with the best china, or as part of a picnic with flasks, it’s totally up to you… we would be so grateful if you could get involved.

And, of course, it’s the perfect excuse to make and eat lots of home-made cakes… you could even run your own “Bake Off” competition with friends ans family as part of the fun!

All you need to do is:

-    E-mail us [email protected] to register your interest.

-    Once you have registered, we will email you free resources, such as an invitation, logos, a recipe or two to try and handy tips. We also have Bristol After Stroke cake label cards, which we would be happy to send in the post to you, if you would like some.

-    Plan your date and venue... and contact your friends with an invitation.

-    Charge an entry fee or ask for a donation.

-    Bake some cakes, get the kettle on and enjoy.

-    Send us your money raised to help stroke survivors live a better life.

You can set up a justgiving page under our campaign page here https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/putthetinstroke2025and ask all your invitees to make their donation there. This will come straight to us.

Or you can transfer or send us the money – details will be sent to you in your registration email.

Thank you!
