The great news that the Co-op has kindly made us one of their nominated “Local Causes” means that customers with loyalty cards in any of their branches can make a contribution to Bristol After Stroke with every purchase they make.

And the Co-op closest to our office in Hartcliffe has now gone one further and asked us to perform the honours at their re-opening ceremony.

BAS Marketing Officer Tony Watts OBE was on hand to cut the ribbon when the Bishopsworth Road branch had its grand reopening in March. More activities are now planned to raise awareness of stroke at the branch and the support we offer.

“This is a huge honour,” said Tony Watts, “and also a chance for more local people to engage with us. Every penny raised by Co-op members who make us their nominated charity will play a part in improving the lives of local stroke-affected people.”
