Many people who have had a stroke are left with varying levels of aphasia, which can have a major impact on the way they speak, read, write and process information.
As well as our six regular Aphasia Groups - where you can meet other people with aphasia in a friendly, empathetic setting in sessions led by a language and speech therapist and practice communication at your own pace - we also run regular workshops.
Details have now been released of our next two series of Communication Workshops – six-week courses where you can not only meet other people with aphasia, but also learn more about the condition and pick up new ideas to help you.
Your partner or carer is also welcome to attend and meet other support partners.
You can choose between coming along to The Ardargh, Kellaway Avenue BS6 7YL on Thursdays mornings between 24 April and 2 May; or to Windmill Hill City Farm, BS3 4EA, again on Thursdays, between 3 July and 7 August.
