We’re delighted to share the great news that we have a new trustee, whose medical background and expertise in the health sector will be a huge asset to Bristol After Stroke.

Tabinda Rashid-Fadel - who many of you will remember at our last Wellbeing Day - is a highly experienced Cardiac Physiologist, who has worked clinically in the Bristol Heart Institute for 30 years and, since 2015, has been leading the team at Accure HealthCare Consultancy to deliver a range of community-based projects.

“Tabinda is a highly experienced and knowledgeable person who totally understands how stroke affects people,” says BAS CEO Rebecca Sheehy, “as well as the complex range of factors that can cause it.

“We are thrilled to welcome her on to our board of trustees.”

Says Tabinda: “I am looking forward to supporting Rebecca and all the team at Bristol After Stroke. I am excited to contribute, wherever I can, to the positive difference you make to people’s lives.”
