Our volunteers
Bristol After Stroke relies on its enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. Over 58 people volunteer with us on a regular basis - from once a week to once a month. They help out at our groups and cafes and provide assistance at our courses, but their main role is to provide companionship, support and encouragement to our service users.
Many of our volunteers have had a stroke themselves and so understand what our service users are going through.
