Our fabulous Charity Walk is back!!!
So get training, put on your walking shoes, have some fun and walk with us to raise vital funds for Bristol After Stroke.
You can join us for a wonderful 1-mile accessible walk around Eastville Park, or perhaps you may want to challenge yourself to try our NEW 3-mile walk around some of Eastville Park, down to the lake and then along part of the beautiful Frome Valley Walkway.
We also have our 6-mile walk along the Frome Valley Walkway as far as Oldbury Court, returning back to Eastville Park. And if you really (really!) want to challenge yourself you may consider doing the walk twice!
The 1-mile course is perfect for wheelchair users, and children as well as dogs are welcome on all three courses.
This walk is a great opportunity to support a much-needed cause while discovering the this hidden beauty spot within our city. It's also an inspiring day out.
We will have a wildlife guide sheet for our 6-mile walk and history notes for all three walks for you to enjoy, a medal for all finishers – and then a warm welcome and refreshments at the finish in the Nissen Hut.
We will even have water and a rosette for your dog!
This is a great way to give back to the stroke community and help us raise funds for our charity. All proceeds from the walk will help support our important services which help people in Bristol and South Gloucestershire to rebuild their lives after a stroke.
This last year we have experienced unprecedented demand for our services – and this year we want to support 1,500 people. You taking part in this event can help make this happen.
This year we are delighted and thankful to be sponsored by Evelyn Partners. Other sponsorship opportunites are still available: contact [email protected]
More information about the walk can be found on our Charity Walk website here.
